Sherri L. Sweers, L.C.C. practices in the areas of general corporate and business law, real estate, civil litigation and estate planning.

Ms. Sweers counsels clients in connection with choice of entities, small business and corporate structure, employment, property and contract issues.

Ms. Sweers clerked for the 9th Judicial District Court in Jackson Hole and Lander, Wyoming. She was the clerk for two district court judges and was responsible for briefing both judges on the pleadings and legal issues for hearings and trials, researching legal issues, and drafting and editing legal opinions and court holdings.

Ms. Sweers is admitted to the Colorado and the Wyoming state bar, as well as the U.S. District Court for Colorado and Wyoming. She is a member of the American Bar Association. Ms. Sweers served as the Chair of the Young Lawyers Division for the State of Colorado in 1999-2000 and was named Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year in October of 2000, Colorado Bar Association.

Ms. Sweers graduated from the University of Kansas in 1990 with a B.A. in political science and communications, where she served as the Director for the Associated Students of Kansas, a lobbyist group for higher education. Ms. Sweers graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1994 with her Juris Doctorate degree. Ms. Sweers took Second place in the intra-school moot Court trial Competition her first year in law school and first place in the trial competition her 2 and 3 years of law school. and took first place at Regional Moot Court Trial Competition qualifying for nationals where she finished 11th. Ms. Sweers is published in the Land and Water Law Review, 1995.
